A row of colorful little houses stands on the grass. One by one the doors swing open and a kitty, a bear, a piggy and friends peek out to say hello. Children can look for as long as they like, then press "Hide!" and every door closes. A card then shows one animal and asks "Where is Kitty?". Tap the door you remember: when you find the right friend, it pops out happily and a star appears on the roof.
There are 7 levels of 3 rounds each, and the house colors, animals and places are shuffled every time. Level 1 has just 2 houses. Later levels add more houses and some empty ones, and from level 5 two houses slowly trade places after the doors close, so little eyes have to follow them.
How to play
- Tap "Play!". The yellow button lets you pick level 1 to 7.
- When the doors open, look at who lives in each house. When you are ready, press the pink "Hide!" button.
- If the houses start to move, follow them with your eyes.
- When the card asks "Where is …?", tap the door you remember. A wrong door is fine: the animal inside just waves and says "I'm Bear!", the door closes again, and you keep looking. After two wrong doors for the same friend, the right house starts to glow.
- When everyone is found, confetti falls. Tap the green arrow for the next round. Finish all 3 rounds to collect 3 stars and move on to the next level.
Controls
- Phone / tablet: tap a house door to open it and see who is inside.
- The big pink "Hide!" button closes the doors. Press it when you are ready: there is no countdown.
- Mouse: click the houses and buttons.
- Keyboard: ← → choose a house, Space / Enter opens it, or press 1–6 to open that house directly. While the animals are still peeking out, Enter means "Hide!". Esc returns to the title; on the title screen, 1–7 jump to a level.
For parents
- Made for ages 3–5, with later levels (empty houses and houses that swap places) that still challenge 6–8 year olds. Children practise short-term and spatial memory, looking carefully before acting, and, in the swapping levels, following moving objects with their eyes. Whenever a door opens during the search, the animal's name pops up, which helps build vocabulary.
- There is no losing, no score and no timer: children decide how long to look, a wrong door simply shows a different friend and closes again, two misses on the same question light up the answer, and a small hint appears if nothing happens for a while. There is no chat, no in-app purchases, no ads and no outbound links, and no name or personal information is ever asked for.
- Only the current level, finished levels and the sound setting are remembered, in this device's browser (the game still works if saving is blocked). Sound can be switched off with the speaker button, and the game also works offline.
