Bear, Kitty, Chick, Frog, Panda, Bunny, Mouse and Piggy each stand on a colored drum and sing one note: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti and high Do. Tap one and it opens its mouth and sings, sending colorful notes floating up.
Sing along has seven songs: Twinkle Twinkle, Mary Had a Little Lamb, London Bridge, Are You Sleeping?, Old MacDonald, Row Row Row Your Boat and Ode to Joy. The animal for the next note glows and bounces; tap it and the song moves on. The song always waits, so there is no rhythm to keep. At the end the whole band plays the song back at full speed and you earn a star.
In Make a tune, tap animals to put eight notes on a little score, then press play to hear it loop with a drum beat. Not sure what to write? The magic wand makes up a pleasant tune. Your tune is kept on this device for next time.
How to play
- Tap the pink "Sing along" button and pick a song. At the top choose "Watch" (the glowing animal sings next) or "Listen" (hear the note first, then find who sang it).
- Tap the glowing, bouncing animal and the song goes on. The little circles at the top show who sings next; the purple ear button plays the whole song for you first.
- A different animal is fine: it just sings its own note. The right one hops to say "here!", and after a moment a little hand points to it.
- Tap the blue "Make a tune" button: tap animals to fill 8 boxes. Green plays / stops, yellow erases one, the purple wand makes a tune, and the bin erases everything (it asks first).
Controls
- Phone / tablet: tap an animal and it sings its note.
- Mouse: click an animal.
- Keyboard: 1–8 (or A S D F G H J K) make the eight animals sing; Space plays the song (Sing along) or plays / stops your tune (Make a tune); Esc goes back.
For parents
- Made for ages 3–5 (and fun up to 8): it only needs taps, with no dragging, quick reactions or rhythm to keep. Children hear high and low notes, link them to colors and animals, and get to know familiar nursery-song melodies. The Listen mode gives older kids gentle ear training.
- There are no wrong answers, no losing and no timers; a different tap just sings a different note. There is no chat, in-app purchases, ads or outbound links, and no name or personal information is ever asked for. All songs are traditional public-domain melodies, and every sound is synthesized live in the browser.
- Stars and the child's own tune are saved only in this device's browser, and the game still works if saving is blocked. Sound can be switched off with the speaker button, and "Erase all" asks first so a stray tap won't wipe a tune.
