Dark shadows sit at the top, and colorful pictures (a kitty, an apple, a rocket…) wait in the tray below. Look at the outline and put each picture onto the shadow that matches it exactly. A right match snaps in with a twinkle of stars, and the picture's name pops up.
There are 27 pictures and 5 levels of 5 puzzles each, freshly shuffled every time. Early levels use very different shapes. Later ones mix look-alikes such as kitty, bear and bunny heads, and level 5 adds one extra shadow that belongs to nobody, so little eyes have to look closely.
How to play
- Tap "Play!". The yellow button lets you pick level 1 to 5.
- Pick up a picture from the tray and drop it on the shadow with the same shape, or tap the picture and then tap the shadow.
- Wrong spot? No problem: the picture hops gently back to the tray so you can try again. After two misses with the same picture, its shadow glows to help, and a small hint also appears if nothing happens for a while.
- When every picture is home, confetti falls. Tap the green arrow for the next puzzle. Finish all 5 to collect 5 stars and move on to the next level.
Controls
- Phone / tablet: hold a picture in the tray, drag it onto the shadow with the same shape, and let go.
- Tapping works too: tap a picture (it hops up), then tap a shadow.
- Mouse: drag and drop, or click a picture and then a shadow.
- Keyboard: ← → choose a picture, Space / Enter picks it up; ← → choose a shadow, Space / Enter puts it down; Esc puts it back or returns to the title. On the title screen, 1–5 jump to a level.
For parents
- Made for ages 3–5, with later levels that still challenge 6–8 year olds. Children practise looking at outlines, visual discrimination and hand–eye coordination, and each match shows the picture's name to build vocabulary. Kids who find dragging hard can tap the picture and then the shadow instead.
- There is no losing, no score to lose and no timer: a wrong drop simply bounces back, and two misses in a row light up the right shadow. There is no chat, no in-app purchases, no ads and no outbound links, and no name or personal information is ever asked for.
- Only the current level, finished levels and the sound setting are remembered, in this device's browser (the game still works if saving is blocked). Sound can be switched off with the speaker button, and the game also works offline.
